Hi,
In a moment of weakness or nostalgia I picked up a Golden State 1941 Supreme (at least that is what it says on the barrel). My first deer rifle was a well worn # 1 mk. 3 which did not survive my uncle in law's amateur gunsmithing. The rifle is pretty clean and tight. It shoots very well with iron sights. Unfortunately, I do not .... my aging eyes betray me. I originally thought it might be a #1 mk 3 but now am beginning to think it is or was a #4. There is a single hole on the left side of the receiver. Is there a scope mount available? And if so where can I get it and how much will it cost. I'd love to take it out hunting. '
Thanks

My aging eyes have sympathy for your aging eyes.
They also would like to see pictures.

They also would like to see pictures. Old eyes here, I miss my young eyes. Was I time in my prime I could see a gnat on a June bug ten feet away. Now I’m doing good to see June bug.
