It's mostly a communication break down. Most people mean
doughnuts and fries when they say carbs...
are you saying most people don't identify
bread, rice, oats, pasta,cornmeal etc. as carbs?
I really think we would all be OK if
we just ate natural unprocessed foods and only had
treats occasionally,more like people ate in the 40's
and 50's...
Thats more about one's choices ie; one can be
educated on food but have little or no desire
or will power to change poor lifestyle habits that
result in excess weight.
and eating only natural unprocessed
foods doesn't stop people getting fat
if they have no sensible self management
and control of their calorie intake...
but they still offer better nutritional
value and fibre that's lacking in many
processed products.
