If you go to the auction, I hope you will report back. How was the condition and how much did it sell for. I have the matching rifle. Model 1899 B, 25-35,1910 with barrel length of 20" and factory letter. Unfortunately the letter does not specify bbl length. My does not have much bluing left. It is for sale.

I must be stupid, I see real estate for sale. Don't matter, every Savage 25-35 I've ever seen looks like a road culvert inside and out.

I'd been looking for a .25-35 for a while. All the bores I saw looked like [bleep]. I finally found one that had strong rifling but was dark. It cleaned up a little but if it would have been any other caliber I wouldn't have touched it. It was also below 500$ which made my bite.

I'm not good at pricing but I'll through out a number of ...add $500 for it being a .25-35.
Maybe that will stir up other comments. Thank you sir. That is exactly what I was looking for.

There was a small chunk of wood missing at the tang. It had a blued lever and an amateur refinish. Bore wasn't good, but not real bad. Wrong sights. It brought $875 + $25 transfer/background check fees. So $900. I did not buy it. I didn't bring a tape measure, but expect the barrel was 26". It looked shorter to me in the ad. Serial number was 74.xxx I think. Could have been 47.xxx.

I would be interested in the aeroplane pedal car. I bet I could make it go like a bat-out-of-hell! It brought $375. If I had a good place to display it, I would have bid. It was cool. Thanks for your help, guys!
