There have been so few ‘skeeters this year I’ve been sleeping out on the back porch. I alway sleep really well outside.

A typical still and humid 75, then the north wind suddenly kicked in about 4:30 😎

First major cool-down of the year is big news around these parts.

Still in the 80’s here. That’s better than 95 plus.

Congrats.

Should be 100 here today and Santa Ana winds up to 30 and possibly gusts to 45mph. We have so many firefighters and so much equipment deployed out of SoCal, what's left will really be humpin' if we get a fire here.

smarquez, I hope things don't explode again down there. Or here. Cooler here now with fall started. 36F at thermometer height this morning but frost on the ground again. However, it's warming up and humidity is already down to 25% and dropping and the winds are supposed to get to 25 mph or so with a Red Flag warning. Situation normal I guess. Clear and sunny for the next week, with highs near 90 still, and no rain in sight. Yippee, right?

You Texians, are about due for that cool down, eh? Maybe get to turn the heat pump to heat sometime soon?
