Naiche was the son of Cochise and was last chief of the Chiricahua Apaches who I admire. The name means mischief maker.
Wake up to this!

Just a nickname I picked up in the 80's. How many here can say they still have the same avatar as when they joined? 16 years, one avatar, how boring is that?

wabigoon; Good evening and thanks for the interesting thread sir, it's interesting to me to see the newer folks' handle origins.
When I started here it was my first forum, so since I'm from BC - as in British Columbia - and reload and shoot or used to anyways for the 7.62x39, .30-30, .308, .30-06, .308 Norma and .300 Win Mag, it sorta seemed to fit?
All the best to you all.
Dwayne

big Kentucky fan, kept getting banned from the largest UK website because I would rant about how bad of a coach Tubby Smith was, several other banned people formed a new website, pooled our money and took out an ad in the school paper saying he should be fired. My name on the new website was KFWA - Kentucky Fan With Attitude
The group had some local notoriety for a few weeks. Now I just use it by default.
have you paid your dues, can you moan the blues, can you bend them guitar strings

Our place up in the NM mountains is named Casi Cielo and I accumulated a herd of Chevrolet trucks and one Corvette from the 1967-72 era. At about the time I got onto the Campfire, my daughters had given me a stack of custom front license plates that read Casi Cielo Classic Chevs. Just timing I guess.

Long ago, the first forum I was ever on was a bowhunting forum. I went by “Mark in WV” there, here I go by the same but it only shows MarkWV.
The forum was one of the first the internet had, good guys, but no moderation ruined it, idiots started being smart assessssss with every thread. Still miss those guys “Len”, “Paul” and “Gene”.
