I was really disappointed when Remington bought Barnes.....now, I terrified as to what Sierra will do to screw-up arguably the best hunting bullet manufactured! memtb
This is probably the most ridiculous statement I've read in a very long time
Ted, I will concede that perhaps Sierra has improved their hunting bullets since the 1980’s, but I will not use my limited hunting as a test subject! I had several miserable failures with Sierra bullets reputed to be big game bullets. When tested beside another cup and core bullet, side by side in identical test material. The competitors bullet gave the classic mushroom retaining approximately 65% or original weight. To recover pieces of the Sierra bullet, would have required a screen sieve!
Ted, while the statment may have been ridiculous to you, perhaps you should venture forth and observe the comments, by many hunters that were very disappointed with the performance of Sierra hunting bullets (?) on game!
