Wyoming is appealing for hunters in the United States to visit their state and shoot as many goats as possible, in what one official termed "every hunter's dream".

The 100 mountain goats in the Grand Teton National Park are considered by state and federal officials an invasive animal, and a threat to the region's bighorn sheep.

For years conservationists, land management experts, National Park officials and the state wrangled with the problem.

In 2018 they agreed to a plan which would rely on aerial sharp shooters, controlling the population from helicopters.

I don't think they are "appealing " , is there a waiting list ?

Just for curiosity, I went to their website just now, to look at license availability, cost, etc. Somebody with computer skills might do better, but I guess it's called a "type A", but I couldn't find a price or availability. Maybe you need to directly go to the Purchase Licenses section, but I was not that committed...I was kind of thinking of buying 1 or 2 as a gift. But, it's my tech skills...I still gaze in awe at a light bulb occasionally.

Last I checked, WY was a solid Red State, does that not extend to the WY Wildlife Dept? Probably not. Those infernal environmental wackos gum up the works everywhere - they're not unlike a viral disease.

I know the Wyoming Game and Fish Wildlife Coordinator, Aaron Kerr. I don't know him real well, but he impresses me as being a stand-up guy. If the situation is a Charlie Foxtrot, I doubt he's calling the shots.

There's probably very, very few ANTIFA, BLM commies or Jihadists in WY. The last time I was in Laramie, I was immediately struck by the unbelievably favorable demographics. From what I saw, Laramie was likely 99% white. I felt like I had been transported back to the 50's, 60's or even the early 70's. It's difficult to describe just how bucolic and tranquil it felt to be in such a place. Everywhere I looked was a white person - from the hotel maids (actually 2 pretty, college-aged white chicks) to restaurants, to service/gas station personnel, everywhere. Not only that, people were very polite. I liked it and it reminded me of how America used to be before the fargin' Marxists ruined everything. I wanted to move there immediately. Another point - during the week I was there it wasn't windy! I'm always reading about the intolerably high winds in WY.

So if you do get one of those coveted ANTIFA, BLM, Jihadist tags, I believe you'll find it very difficult to fill - at least in WY.
