Curious what some options guys have gone with. Thinking of updating my FN15 MOE with aluminum rail and buttstock, maybe. There's hundreds right? How about some ultra durable options? Any standouts? Or pics for the hell of it? Just a budget 300BO here.

Your right there are many good one's. My 18" DD 5.56mm sports an Vltor EMod and A5 buffer tube combo. It's a very useful stock, despite that it's a beard pinching SOB. I fixed the pinching seam with one of those long car window decals you get free from time to time. It covers the seam and wa la no pinch no mo'......
On my budget 16" Diamondback 300 Blackout (AKA: "The Evil Dwarf") I replaced a wobbly OEM stock with a rock solid Magpul MOE SL. The Moe SL is decidedly more beard friendly and more minimalist in form and function than the EMod.
Both will accommodate QD swivels or sling loops. The Emod has all kinds of storage, while the MOE SL has none. The EMod is better off a rear bag, as it befitting on a rifle meant for longer range shooting with a ancient Leupold MK 4 2.5-8x power scope aboard, while the MOE SL is more a point and shoot proposition on the Evil Dwarf which suits it perfectly with only a Holosun 503GU-GR mounted for optics.

I also like the Magpul MOE SL. It has a spring that keeps everything snug and quiet. (SL - Spring Loaded). The built-in QR sling socket is handy too.

Good stuff. I have a Magpul MOE SL-K coming for a 7.62x39 "assembly", parts due any day. Then on buying restriction, for a while...
On another tangent, I have a fixed (A2 I think) buttstock that's just too long. Thought about swapping everything over to use a LuthAR MBA3 but using the carbine parts meant for that on the Russian... I'm sure something else will come up.

The Magpul ACS is a good one too:
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

12" with the carbine length ace and 1" buttpad installed. Perfect for 'nose to charging handle'...

SOPMOD from LMT or KAC but the B5 version is almost as good for a third of the price.

It's nice and compact, but not as snug fitting as the MOE-SL.

I like SOPMOD's too, MOE-SL is good as is the STR, below, all 3 a similar, with small differences but all give a pretty good cheek weld. MM

I’m pretty happy with the b5 sopmod stock vs the magpul. Magpul are good though as well
Have a sba3 pistol brace as well that I like a lot. Sold the SB pdw as it just didn’t seem worth the cost to me over the sba3
