Hunted south of ABQ a couple hours, Sept 20-24. They were screaming first and last couple hours every day. Big bulls had harems of cows.

Thank you, talked to my guide yesterday he believes it will be great the first muzzy season. He is headed in to do some scouting next week out of a tent camp. Looks to be cooling down some.

The rut activity has been very hit and miss in the places I’ve been.
My kid glassed up 5 bulls together last night with no cows in site and heard no bugling. Be interesting to see how the youth hunts go. The bulls he glassed yesterday are in a place the bulls typically go after pulling off the cows.

In Utah( niortheast) it is hot, dry and incredibly dusty. Not much bugling. Full moon not helping. First hunt starts Saturday.
