Now you really did it. How dare you say that any Republican administration ever made any mistakes. Them are fightin words. You surely must be un-American, un-patriotic, un-cola-ed, and whatever other uns I can think of. Of course we sold Hussein WMD, but he promised us he would never think of using them against us! See, all the more reasons to invade Iraq, Hussein broke his promise when he thought of using the weapons against us.

Please remember, we are Amercians and we will free the Iraqis even if we have to kill every one of them to do it. By God, it's the American way.
In your future posts, please try to believe everything the government says and please don't question any of the information. Accept it as fact. Our President would never, ever, in a million years, lies to us.

Sorry about getting carried away, I just wanted to try to think like a conservative for one moment and I couldn't stop myself. It's kind of fun using pretzel logic. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Rick

I will post it again, go to this messageboard and look under "The War and the Middle East" section. it's good for a good laugh if nothing else, plus you find many different view points

I think that is part of the reason why we are in Iraq, papa Bush didn't finish the job the first time so now a whole new bunch of kids get to go and die for his mistake (no Bush children in the bunch I'm sure). By the way, Bush already started handing out contracts to the tune of $900,000,000.00 to rebuild Iraq. Guess the pork is alive and well.

You two do not get confused because I ask questions about everything. I am still a Republican. Let's go reload and to the range and pop a few caps. This stuff wears on people, especially those with loved ones in the service or actually in the service.

I really can't be classified Rep. or Dem. as I have voted both parties. Guess I am middle of the road. Can see both points of view, but don't agree with all of one or the other. As for going out and punching holes in paper, we had freezing rain last night and are supposed to get 6-8" of snow tonight. Not weather conducive to anything but sitting inside and waiting for the spring to arrive. Rick

My daughter tried to post a photo of 3 Auburn pilots pointing to a bomb attached to a Harrier on the deck of the USS #### that was dropped two days ago. It had WAR EAGLE written on it. Anyway, it was a super photo, Harrier, deck, ocean, sky, etc.
Wish I had had more time to talk with you about the Bushs'; they are highly regarded by our forces so that should tell you something and you may want to read Powell's, Schwartzkoph's, and Rumsfeld's books and others that explain their actions in context of the time period involved. Support is not the right word; balance against Iran is the right word and as to Iraq's support, look to Russia, France, Germany, Syria, etc. One of my friends is union and his beliefs were based on the line coming down but the more time he spends around me, the more he is getting to the facts and understanding some myths. He votes his paycheck, Democrat, but he thinks totally Republican in his values and doesn't realize that until you point it out to him.
The Harrier? Now these are "guns!" You can't reload the brass, the trigger is electronic and they turn on a dime. The Brits did it right. I'll be at AR in a few months.
