Dad killed a bear Offa bait two days ago, how long should I let it rest before I hunt it again? We topped it off after the kill.

I have killed Black Bears over bait within 3 days after killing the first one. They are really driven by food.
It was the soonest that I could get back to that spot to hunt.

20 minutes I baited them many years ago A kill at a bait didn’t stop the deceased friends from coming back, almost immediately

Back in the late 80's........used to hunt Ontario yearly.....mostly Spring.....some Fall.
Worked at a local grocery store at 16.....still had a connection for the 2-day-old free pastries......would take at least a hundred pounds up for the blackie bait sites.
Problem was.....I'd eat half.
