I'm staying away from ball powders for the most part, and am in the process of working loads for my Marlin 1894(20") 44 rem.mag. I've got some IMR 4227 on hand and some 265gr. Hornady's. Anyone play with this combo, thinking of it as a kinda camper load, or go get em in the tight stuff kinda rig. Am I barking up the wrong tree? If so chime in. Just remember. You cant have SLAUGHTER, without LAUGHTER
