That’s a slammer of a bull, congratulations to you and your Dad.
After being in the lottery since before they began issuing points, I was drawn a few years back, but was unable to go as my Dads wife had significant health issues. I would not have gone without him. Sine then, his wife has passed and he is now 83 years old with mild Parkinson’s. He still has all of his preference points and will likely be drawn if he puts in for the draw instead of another point next year. Because of the Parkinson’s, he is likely unable to shoot unless the bull is similarly close like yours was, but like before, I won’t go without him if he can’t go. It’s his decision, but I hope he decides to put in for the draw and feels good enough to go if drawn, as that will likely be his last hunt. I hope to have similar memories from that hunt. Time will tell...

Congratulations !! I went with my dad back in 2013 when he was 80. We also hunted area 1 and saw 40 moose in 5 days. He eventually got a small bull, but it was a memory we both will cherish forever. Who was the outfitter you used ?
