Hello Gents.
What size Winchester action would you use to build a 300PRC.
I’ve got the following: SS Classic - 300 RUM SS Classic - 300 WBY SS Classic - .338WM SS Classic - .7MM Magnum SS Classic. - 30-06 Win SA Classic - .270 Win
Thanks much.

I would build on the .300 WBY I think. That way you have the correct bolt face for the PRC round, the long 3.600" mag box, and the feeding shouldn't be too much of a hassle.
The .30-06 and .270 would require bolt face work. The 338 and 7mm don't have the H&H length action.

Not sure the PRC would require an H&H action. Overall, isn’t it shorter than a 300 WM?

300 Win Mag is 3.37 MOL or COAL
300 PRC is 3.7 MOL or COAL to run the longer heavy .308 bullets.
The PRC case is a tiny bit shorter at 2.58 vs 2.62 for the .300 WM

I'd use your 300 RUM action myself. The case size is very close to the PRC, you'll get 3.6 without trying too hard and a good smith can open it up to get you out to 3.8 if you want to do it.
