One of my neighbors drew his tag after just five years of trying. His wife drew on year three and was successful at six months pregnant. A good friend, second gen local, drew on year twenty four. At 46" it is pretty nice bull for the area.

Shot at 6:30 AM and packed out (with the help of another neighbor) and at home at midnight.

very nice Shiras !
i drew after 17 years, my wife, 2 sisters, cousins wife all drew first year! sex discrimination! grin we all filled our tags. the moose population up here in zone 1 has crashed. for years i had them camping on my lawn all winter. haven't seen one in 2 years.
i think of all the deer , the moose is the best eating.

He hunted zone 1 and, yes, moose is the best "deer" I have ever had.
