What are you all using? I'm looking for good wicking, boxer brief to cover upper thighs, and odor control. Comfort and odor control are my most important features. I've bee wearing Sitka synthetic, can't recall the model, and they work well on odor control and general comfort. They do have some kind of iron-on Sitka label that sticks to my skin but it doesn't wear a hole in your skin.

Under Armour nylon from the deployment days, and a few newer Huk pairs with the breathing panels.
The Huk have a rubberized logo on the outside that DOES stick to everything, but it's not too bad if you know to watch for it.

New Balance 3pk on Amazon for $17. 90% poly and 10% spandex. 6 inch legs. I've found them to be great for working outdoors in hot southern summertime. Wicks the moisture well.

Can't speak to that. Just the comfort and moisture control. Perhaps someone else can be the guinea pig on the odor test.

Duofold, the old style wool/cotton blend tops and bottoms. I’ve yet to drink the synthetic fabric Kool Aid.

I have a couple sets of excellent synthetic long johns, very light, that came from Good Will. Yes, new -- they have lots of new stuff. For non-cold use, I use synthetic athletic-type underwear with a generous waist band. I have gotten good use from my Costco ones, but the clear champs are UnderArmour. I just can't believe how long their elastic waists last. I have had some for 10 years and have fluctuated in weight by over 30 lbs, yet it still fits right and stays right.
I am thick of thigh and prefer "long" short underwear. Cotton need not apply except for sleeping at home in the winter. Nor wool. Nor blends of same.

I'm fat and my legs rub. Hunting I wear compression shorts, like the ball players, with a lot of stretch. Works well enough for me. Some manscaping and baby wipes keep the odor tolerable.

I just wash mine at camp and switch out.

That has been my experience as well. The Sitka ones I have do as good as any I've ever seen but still about 2 days. Of course they quit making them....

I have been using Meriwool men's boxers the past 2 seasons with great results. So far they have held up and much better than synthetics for odor control.

Duluth trading buck naked boxer briefs OR the Armachillo boxer briefs. They are not cheap so I watch for the sales but for the last 6 years been using them and have not wore a pair out yet and have not been chaffed or uncomfortable at all. Bottom line is they work very well.

No, really. ExOfficio. Buy a pair and live a little. These are great. I've got some no-name synthetics I got off Sierra trading post a decade ago that I wish I would of bought every pair they had in large. They are my go-to's. Quick dry, no stink, no chafe. I wore one pair for 4 days in blm back country a few weeks ago. Still working well.

Or when I don't, I am all about Haines Boxer Briefs from Wally World, just like normal.
