Nice guns aren't cheap. The GP100 44 Special is a very nice gun.

Find one and buy it. They are great guns!

I've had one for about a year and a half now and carried it quite a bit. I like it a lot. Hope you find one and enjoy it as much.

Had I not owned a fine shooting 4" Taurus 441 .44 Special I might had bought one of those Rugers. When I lived in Tennessee I used that gun with a 250 grain hard cast SWC and a stiff charge of 2400 to take fine buck with. It was rifle season but I had that with me on my hip when the 6 pointer came sauntering by me at 55 yards. One through the rib cage and out the other side did him quick. I just took it out of the safe a few minutes ago. I have not shot it in a while so I guess that sometime this week I need to remedy that. A nice fine handling gun.

I've had one for 3-4 years now and it's one of my favorites. I think I paid a little under $800 for it...

A 3" SS GP100 .44 special has been on my someday radar for a while. It would be a handier, hardier (finish-wise) version of the 5" blued version that I already have, but at those prices, I can wait a while.
