They have both of these at my local shop and I'm in the market. The Glock is slightly cheaper but by the time I upgrade the sights and magazines it's considerably more expensive. I'm leaning towards the Sig right now. The Glock feels a little better in hand but the Sig looks like it would be a little easier to conceal because of the grip shape. Daily carry is a Ruger LCP9Pro right now. I've got a Sig P938 too but rarely carry it.
Any thoughts?

The Sig. I’ve got the standard P365 and love it.

IMO if you have the LC9pro already the only thing better for carry would be the p365. Not the xl model or g43.

Sig. In order to match Sig Glock owner has to pay extra for night sights, buy aftermarket magazines plus metal safety catch. The Glock is not worth the effort.

I hear yeah. The LCP9Pro is a great CC pistol and I will continue to use it but I want something with a little more capacity.

I have a 365 and my brother-in-law, who lives next door to me, has the G43X.
I shoot both and am VERY glad I went with the 365. With the extended mags, it's roughly the same size as an XL.

I’ve handled the Glock but never shot one. I have the standard 365 Sig and like everything about it. It carries well, easily concealed, has functioned flawlessly for me. It shoots like a much larger pistol is the only way I can describe it.

Am I the only one who really doesn't care for the semi square profile of the Sig's grip? I prefer the more rectangular dimensions of the Glock.

Am I the only one who really doesn't care for the semi square profile of the Sig's grip? I prefer the more rectangular dimensions of the Glock. I've not heard of others not liking the dimensions of the P365 grip as compared to the G43. When I've shot a P365 next to the 43x I've not really noticed the square vs. rectangle thing; I've just noticed that the P365 feels much better in my hand. But...it that's a deal-breaker for you, so be it--that's why they call it personal preference. You're not wrong. You might be in a small minority, but that doesn't make you wrong--especially if you don't shoot the Sig as well as other guns. P.S. I did a quick search for some pics, and found these: https://www.glocktalk.com/threads/compare-sig-p365-to-g43-or-g42.1713996/ . There isn't an obvious difference between the two grips. I'm sure there are exact specs somewhere on the interweb that could tell us exactly what the difference is.

I guess that I didn't explain myself very well. I meant in cross section. Think of a 1911 having an oblong grip while a P35 has more of a square grip.

This is exactly why they used to make pickup trucks with fleetside beds and stepside beds. Club cabs and standard. We all have a subjective eye and our own feel for what is best in our hand. I'm tickled that so many like the Sig, but having had one apart, I was not impressed. Make mine a Glock 43x with the Shield Arms mags and a Hyve mag release. Oh, and some Ameriglo sights. I'll be content with that.

I'd buy the P365 XL, manual safety or not is your choice.
Buy the optics ready XL, so you have more modification options.
Then, I'd buy a P365 frame, for $50.
You can change frames and pocket carry the 365 when you need to.
You can change frames back, and have the extra grip of the XL when you want to.
Metal frames available, but more $$.
The 365 is going to have more aftermarket accessories than any pistol to hit the market.

Another vote for p365.
I’ve done the opposite of what Fubarksi recommends.
XL grip module on a standard slide.

The little trigger bars looked frail. Didn't care for the hoop style trigger return spring. Just the little things, I guess.

I prefer the 43x, just fits me and points better. The only things i've added are Ameriglo night sights, Shield Arms mags and mag catch.

It is a matter of preference! I prefer greater accuracy, a better trigger, and much better std sights than are provided by the G43. I shot a training class with one, the glock sights are better than the ruger LC9 sights my buddy used, but inevitably my groups while reasonably small were centered to the right of the heart on the target. The small gun, snap of trigger and slam into backwall characteristic of the glock is predictable if nothing else. Buy the best for your needs, it’s not glock, vs ruger vs sig it’s individual firearms that one company makes best over another. A G17 fits one of my needs a P365 fits another. The G43 went down the road and I have been 100% satisfied with the P365.
