I bought a used APO Televid 65 and 25-50 eyepiece. The eyepiece is very loose in the body when mounted. I'm about 80% sure I have it mounted correctly (line up the dots, press the eyepiece straight in, turn clockwise until it clicks, have to press the button to remove). Never owned a Leica spotter, but this level of fit is certainly not on par with any other spotter I've had. It feels like there is a gasket missing that would provide a little squish. Anyone ever seen anything like that, or know what I might be doing wrong?

You're mounting it correctly. Please copy the above into a PM to me along with your e-mail address and I'll send it on to a contact at Leica to reach out to you. You can also include your phone # if you do not mind someone from Leica calling you
