shot my 77/22 yesterday to make sure it was still deadly and it is. squirrel opened up here in PA weeks ago but i just can't enjoy hunting them in summer like conditions. i need cold, fall mornings to be in the mood. looks like saturday is going to be perfect. i wish i still enjoyed it as much as i used to but it doesn't get me as excited as it used to. i used to anticipate the first day of squirrel as much or more than deer. but it is still nice to get out and walk around in the fall woods.
