Went through 8 years of that. Absolutely knock down gorgeous woman. Somewhat crazy before losing a $300k/yr job. After that, card-carrying crazy. If you'd told me 5 years prior to that I would / could ever cut her loose, I'd have told you that you were crazy. Believe me. There's only so much you can take no matter how good looking they are. Never again. I know the signs now. You know the saying, "No matter how gorgeous she is, someone is tired of her shiet"

Was married to the absolutely best woman ever. Not too crazy and she loved to hunt, fish, sit out at night by a fire, and go camping. She'd buy me guns for Christmas and anniversaries. Lost her in 2018 to Pancreatic cancer, she was 44. First time I saw her I thought she was the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen.

Was married to the absolutely best woman ever. Not too crazy and she loved to hunt, fish, sit out at night by a fire, and go camping. She'd buy me guns for Christmas and anniversaries. All this reminds me of a story a friend mine related. He woke up naked one morning at a drive in theater underneath his lifted Dodge Ramcharger with no recollection of last night, a strong fishy taste in his mouth, , laying next to a naked 300 lb chick who was stoned out of her mind and maniacally cackling about all the fun they had. partying the night before.

This crazy woman the opening poster described sounds like my Sister-in-Law. I wish my brother would grow a pair and divorce her. He used to be fun to hunt with until she started tagging along every dang place he goes...She's a major headcase. He's been woken a few times with her drunk and pointing a pistol at his head accusing him of cheating. Don't know how he lives with it. Nobody in our family can stand her.

I can will all honesty say that my wife needs no alcohol or drugs to revel in complete madness. It generally starts when I ask her what she would like for breakfast. ( as she cusses out the voice on the glucometer). And it generally spirals down from there until bedtime. Thank God for my own bedroom. Well, Least Since getting her off the opioids, I’m not dodging # 3 can o’ peaches ( in heavy syrup) or the occasional tossed walker. Bob, 60 years of marriage is quite a spell, but honestly can say that I have never needed to dodge a can of peaches (any size, any syrup). However, have been linguistically lanced now and then - probably deservedly. I admire your forthrightness and, even more, your dedication and gentlemanly demeanor. Sleep well. He is a better man than many. odds are Ranger, you could change that "many" to "most" and still be correct. Bob is worthy of his reputation. I saw my grandfather live out his like with my grandmother, who I did love but was a certifiable lunatic. He reiterated to me several times: he had said vows, and he was a man of his word. I may not have the marriage I imagined when I was single for so many years, but I chose well enough that I can say I've kept my vows without too much trouble. I hafta give the woman some of the credit. Knowing myself as well as I do........................I hafta give my wife "most" of the credit.................maybe close to all of the credit. My wifes a gem, if I lost her I doubt very much I'd try for another as I can't imagine finding one who measures up.
From what I've seen, a large portion of crazy/bitchy women are that way because they've been allowed to behave that way all their lives by guys who are willing to overlook that sort of behavior in order to access the pink parts. Kinda reminds of poorly behaved children, and the parents who just can't figure out why their kids are so rotten. Generally its pretty obvious to everyone else.

One of my wives used burn it to the ground partying for two weeks at a time, clean out the bank account, buy another car cuz she wrecked the one she had, then come limping home strung out. If I gave her any grief she'd call the cops and tell them I hit her. Don't talk to me about crazy, my ex wrote the book, the sequel, the finale and played the starring role. Of course none of that showed up in the courting phase, all 20 minutes of it!  Sounds like textbook Bipolar 1. Add manic depressive, anorexic, and bolemic.
