I always wrote the 67 off as a youth gun. The barrel is long and the sights are great. I’m surprised at what I can hit with it. The sub-sonic ammo is close to silent.
I think I know what you mean. Getting older, I haven't been able to shoot anything with iron sights well for a while.. This summer I couldn't resist a good buy on a new BL-22. Took it to the range, and those fine iron sights just didn't let me hit much. So I ordered a Skinner peep sight and a post front, and couldn't believe how well I could shoot that little rifle with those sights. Felt like a kid again. A LOT of soda cans, empty shotgun shells, and other plinking targets met their match this summer! A friend and I spent a morning trimming small branches off a dead ash tree down in a coulee....it was fun watching 2" of branch disappear with each shot. So enjoy that 67!
Good shooting! I'm a year younger, and essentially can't see regular iron sights . So far, peeps are working ok, but the front is still blurry. Boy, do I like old 22's!
