Rush Now, I have always warned everybody what this election hinges on, the issues on which this election will hinge have not happened yet. I said that six months ago, three months ago, four months, eight, whatever. I cautioned everybody, don’t believe the polls today, because the things that are gonna shape this election outcome haven’t happened yet. And there are still events that haven’t happened yet that are going to shape this election’s outcome. I don’t know what they are. But I would think that the Democrats — I have been telling people, so I’ll tell you — I think the Democrats are gonna try to unload some massive scandal-related October Surprise-type thing tomorrow or Thursday because I firmly believe they want Trump to pull out of this debate. I think they are the ones on defense. I think they’re the ones afraid of Biden and an open microphone. I don’t think that they’re thinking they’re gonna get Trump from the first debate. I think they know that’s not who Trump is. So I’ve been expecting some massive dirty trick, October Surprise-type thing, to happen tomorrow or maybe even Thursday, the day of the debate. Even if I’m wrong about that, the point is that the events that still have a chance to shape the election, some of them have not happened yet https://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2020/10/20/this-week-is-ripe-for-a-democrat-october-surprise/

Judging on their huge push to get people to vote early, I'm thinking they are more afraid of a surprise than preparing one.
They know there will be Republican votes in the early ballots, A surprise will be too late to affect them.
Yet one more reason early voting is such a bad deal.
The first Tuesday in November that follows a Monday!

what could they say that would shock anyone at this point
the election process started in 2016 with them lying about Trump watching Russian prostitutes piss on a bed
when that is what you lead with, there isn't much of a bang after that.

Yeah but people believe what they want to believe and politicians know this big time.
You would think the "boy who cried wolf" affect would have taken hold after 4 plus years of false hoaxes. The pathological lier Adam Schift has been lying to the public for 4 years but people still believe it because they want to believe it.
This same affect has affected my thinking as I no longer believe the Hannity/Dobbs, etc. "tick-tok" BS i have been hearing for 4 years, even though I want to believe it.

I think the Hunter Biden story pretty much took the wind out of the sails of whatever the Dems could come up with.

I think an Oct surprise will not be very impactful. Many have voted, and the vast vast majority are “dug in” in terms of their preference.

I’m dropping off our ballots today. There is nothing either side could do or say to change my vote. MAGA

2020 doesn't need to spring anymore surprises on us. A “pleasant” surprise would be welcome, AG Barr handing down an indictment or 10.

The first Tuesday in November that follows a Monday! It does look like the democrats are pushing early voting because they are afraid their candidates will be exposed for the crooks they are.

Democrats don't have an October surprise. They've already shot their wad of conspiracies these last 3 years.
