My last hunt with my 25 years of hunting buddy turned 72 and found he was done. With that, we were done. Outside Leadville at 11000+ feet. I scored early AM of the opening second season. Conduct is the best proof of character.

I can only imagine the number of hogs, deer, coyotes and jackrabbits that he killed with it. He called it 'The Killer'. He shot between 200 and 300 rounds a year, practicing on jackrabbits. He and that rifle were the polar opposite of gay. The gun was lost in a house fire in 2010 and we lost him in 2014 at 86. I chuckle at the thought of someone trying to tell him his rifle was gay.
