I have played some. Good way to kill time.
Walking puts some exercise into the game...uh, sport.
Doesn't matter if it is a +3 or an 18 handicap talking, it all sounds the same at the 19th hole...I find that interesting.
I've found that using a cart on 36 kills more calories than walking 9.

I played when I was younger. It was a good excuse to drink lots of beer in the sun. Used to get quite a few looks around hole 16, after a beer a hole. Funnily enough, I'd often par the last three holes.
I belong on eroding granite, among the pines.

Golf is for folks who can’t fish. JS. Best freshwater fishing we have here is on the golf courses. Golf courses are also useful for breeding Egyptian Geese and Black-bellied Whistling ducks.

Golf is nothing more than a good walk ruined. Of course from my perspective, a good round of golf is when you end up with more golf balls in you golf bag than you started the day with. I also hope to live long enough to score my age for 18 holes and I need at least another thirty years to do that with no further erosion of limited golf skills.

Golf is nothing more than a good walk ruined. Of course from my perspective, a good round of golf is when you end up with more golf balls in you golf bag than you started the day with. I also hope to live long enough to score my age for 18 holes and I need at least another thirty years to do that with no further erosion of limited golf skills. I think it would be hard to hone one's skills if you lived in ND and MN. LOL
