The only thing I like about golf is Tiger's ex, Lindsey Vonn. Yowza, even though she needs some fake tits.

Glock fell to the floor. The + extension separated from magazine body which remained in the pistol. Ammo, spring, retention cup, extension, ammunition spread over the floor. No more magazine extensions for me. sick

I had to learn to play golf a few years ago when I was sent into Iran on a covert mission. Turns out the contact was an Iranian who grew up in Japan and developed a love for the game, and he wanted to have our meeting on the only golf course in Iran, which doesn't even have 18 holes. So I went into an intensive golf training program outside of Langley and ended up learning so well that I beat Barack Obama one day (it was in the locker room).

I hit a dozen holes in one on the Iranian course and was recruited to join the Iranian Olympic golf team.

I live on a nice little golf course. I play or practice nearly every day during the happy months. 30+ year golfer. It amazes me what pro's can do, and their consistency. I do take lessons and work on things with a pro each season. Have 5 different teaching/playing pros numbers in my phone. I play lots of amateur tournaments, but I'm not enjoying the local leagues as much as the past because of the stupid USGA handicap system. Getting to single digits was hard. Getting to a 6 handicap was a lot of work. Trying to get to scratch is stupid crazy hard. Staying a single digit after the age of 55 is a challenge worthy of the effort.

The short game is critical. Clean ball striking is mandatory. Long irons and distance control. Fairway metals off the deck. Putting. Chipping. Putting. Chipping. Putting. Wedge work. Equipment fitting. Driving. Swing analysis.
Finding consistency.
When to be patient. When to go for it.
Using the right ball for your game.
Dealing with weather conditions and wind.
Everyone hits bad shots and poor putts. Good golfers don't follow up a bad shot or a poor putt with another one.
Lots of challenges wrapped up in a total package.
The end result is just a number on a card that does not tell the whole story of a round. A 2' putt is the same as a 300yd drive on that scorecard.
Met lots of great folks while playing, and some not so good folks too.

I will play until I simply can not. Golf is life. "Just playin' thru!"

Nope, just so bad that it's a lot of hard work. Can't imagine running.

I think shrap has mentioned that place.

Thanks.

It is beautiful and worth playing. Also the Old Works Course by Anaconda is worth experiencing. Jack Nicklaus design on top of old mining tailings, black sand bunkers, amazing Superfund site. Of course I haven't seen many courses that I haven't enjoyed.

Hahaha.

Do you live somewhere warm?

Sometimes I wonder if guys that have 90 days to play each year are just spinning their wheels.

I don't see leaving Florida to golf in Montana.

But hell, I might.

Disc golf - golf for the masses:

Which did you cold-cock with your 1911? Was it Obama, or the Iranian guy?

Or Safariman. Did Safariman golf? Does his old lady Assphault Angle? Anybody got some pics of her in a thong on the green? Topless please.
