Must be something to it, all the high dollar acreage devoted to golf courses.
I guess when ya can no longer play football or baseball or soccer, there's golf. You can always ride a pedal bike on the interstate though. In many places Interstates are the safest place. This from a guy who doesn't GAS about "asserting his right to the road" etc etc, just doesn't want to get run over too soon. The further you can stay out of the flow of traffic the better, for both sides.

Used to play lots of golf, especially after my baseball playing days ended. I never found making solid contact much of a problem, but getting it to go exactly where I wanted was a challenge. I became a pretty solid 5 handicap, but if you really want to score low consistently you have to develop your short game....chipping, putting. My knees got so bad I gave it up and really don't miss it much.
