Without my readers, which I don't wear while hunting, I can no longer read the turret. What tips, tricks or solutions do y'all with similar vision issues use?. Thanks in advance.

Count clicks....but that would require you to read your dope chart too.

Mag-, what am I missing? You need to just go to an optometrist; it’s either contact lens, glasses, or if you are of the age and have cataracts, it’s new correctly refracting lens. 😉

Yes, it's a new modern invention called Bifocals. Even if the tops are not magnified and you have 20/20 at distance. They will work and you can see the turrets with the lower part and still use the scope with the upper.

I'm right there with you! I can't see the marks on the turret, so I count clicks from the zero stop.

My dope is in a large enough font that I can read it and I keep it taped to my LRF. My new LRF allows me to load my dope and along with the yardage, gives me clicks for drop.

It sure would be nice to have young eyes and be able to easily see this.

Use white athletic tape with full increment numbers only written in large black numbers and count clicks in between.

I'd probably use one of the turret tapes myself with LARGE numbers written out for the yardages on the tape. Should be able to put those on about any turret out there and get them made where you can see them at a quick glance.

That's why I went this direction on a couple of rifles.

This is what I'm trying to avoid but may have to go there. I still have 20/15 at distance. Used to be 20/10. Getting old sucks. My father, rest his soul, had two sayings about getting old "it beats the alternative" and "getting old ain't for sissies".

I wear contacts. One eye for reading and for distance. I adjusted to them quickly and have been using them for a few years now. It allowed me to quit using readers.

you could try one of the bugeye scope turret magnifiers from southern precision rifles. Haven't ever used one myself, but looks like it could work.

In the last few years I got rid of four different brands of scope because I couldn’t read the turrets well enough any longer. I have had much better luck with the Bushnell LRHS because the numbering is so much larger and brighter. Right now I am also using some of the weaver tactical‘s, the 3-15 and 6-30 for the easier to read Turrets. They aren’t light weight scopes, but for stand hunting whitetails they have been working well for me with the easier to read Turrets and lit reticle.
