Well sticking to their old business model is a sure fire way to fail. I'm 35 and don't see a pile of guys my age saying they want a Harley.

Yup.

It probably will come with a super-premium price tag.

Seems totally silly to me.

But !!! If we were in 1903. Would the new H/D seem practical ?? Or, how would you view it, after just getting off your horse or stepping out of your buggy ??

Seems fugged up, but have they come full circle ??

They're also building a cheap Chinese bike for the Asia market. Should launch in the next few months.

E bikes are for fat folks who can't keep up with dedicated cyclists. I know cause I ride non E bikes a lot. They are better than sitting on the couch but not for the totally committed.

Very true. Would you be a potential buyer? If I was 20 years younger I might be.

If its made in China, like all the other bikes, it won't be a sale for me.

I am just wondering how they are going to organise the "Harley oil leak".

These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.

Outdoors,

That video was well done and hit all the high marks quickly.

Good job.

Congratulations on no longer being a fat ass, but not every purchase is done for the purposes of caloric burn.

They have a small reservoir under the seat that you refill as needed. It slowly drips oil through the seat post to the ground. It has an adjustment so you can vary the amount of oil leaked.

I'd get a patent on that while you've got a chance!

I watched an interesting series on Apple TV called a A Long Way Up. Actor Ewan Macgregor and his buddy ride E motorcycle Harley prototypes from the S. tip of Argentina to LA Calif. They had a lot of support but they liked the bikes which performed well in very tough conditions and at high altitudes.

Electric vehicles are here to stay.

Harley-Davidson is far more strategically profound that people give them credit for. Concurrent with the Serial 1 branded E-bikes Harley will redirect production of their famous V-twin engines into gasoline powered generators folks can keep in their garage to charge the new bikes.

So folks can have their bike and grease spot, too...
