Getting ready to pull the trigger on the Mountain 2.0 in 6.5 PRC. This will be a backpack rifle (muleys & bears) wearing a March 2.5-25x42. Not finding any real reviews out there and I want to make sure this gun/barrel contour are not too light for consistent accuracy out to 700 yards or so....and yes I reload. Any first-hand experience from you guys would be appreciated before the purchase.
Thanks in advance

I don’t have experience with that model in 6.5 prc but I do in .308. They’re accurate and easy to tune with hand loads. How many shots are you wanting to rattle off in order to stay at at least 1 MOA to 700 before accuracy degrades?

Good to hear that DV, as a hunting rifle 3 is plenty.

The one I had in 280AI was very accurate. 1/2" or so (3-shots) without any load workup. It was a earlier version.
It's a gun I should have kept.
I think you'll be happy.

You’re good to go with a 3 shot margin.
