OP gophergunner Campfire Ranger Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 18,033 North Central U.S.	My son ships out for Air Force basic training on December 8th, so we're doing an early Christmas. I'd like to give him a good coffee table book on the history off the U.S. Air Force. Does anyone have a suggestion on a certain book? Thanks guys. molɔ̀ːn labé skýla

Best wishes to your son, my father really enjoyed his time in the Air Force and talks about it a lot.

A suggestion: Beyond the Wild Blue: A History of the U.S. Air Force, 1947-1997 by Walter J. Boyne \| Jun 15, 1998 or, more recently: https://smile.amazon.com/Beyond-Wil...2358113/dp/0312358113/ref=dp_ob_title_bk Amazon has it used. And, it's available new at $60+. Retired cat herder.
