given that few if any Republicans supported Trump as a front runner in the first election, I suspect they will abandon him quickly now

All politicians are scum I'm not so sure. Trump showed them how to win, if they'll learn the lesson. But he also showed them how to lose and they need to learn that lesson too.

All politicians are scum They crapped all over the Tea Party after they handed them the Senate and Congress in 2010. No doubt. They’ll learn NOTHING about appealing to working class voters in the Midwest/etc. Cruz et al wouldn’t have had a PRAYER in WI/OH/etc in 2016...

Rush has a source in the White House who has declared Arizona and Pennsylvania will go Red in the end. With those two states and Georgia and NC, Trump wins. He doesn't need Mich or Wis or Nevada.
