For you folks with more binos than harness, what do you use for the little rings that the harness hooks to? I would like to leave a set on each set of binos, but need more of the little rings. is there another option? zip ties?

Yep, zip ties.

If I am feeling really fancy, I go buy some split rings of whatever diameter I feel is appropriate....and then I zip tie them to the bino. grin

For compatibility with my AGC pouch, I have bought extra quick release tethers that attach to the bino.

I use key rings that seem to accumulate.

I use quick release key rings that have two split key rings with a connector in the middle. They cost a little more to set up but fast and easy (just push a button) to change out binoculars. Also handy if you want to detach the binoculars from the harness while out hunting.

[bleep] zip ties...... little split rings and the smallest Nite-Ize dual carrabiners work most splendidly...

Don's carabiner trick works well, as does a second set of the quick detach buckles, if your particular bino harness brand has such a system.

I don't use the second set of actual straps, but keep the lower parts of these (with the female end buckles and the cöcksucker buckles) hooked up to other sets of binos. Then, when I want to change binos out, I just unbuckle the female buckles on the pair currently in the harness, buckle in the new pair and roll on. Hopefully that makes sense.

I like using these....Horn Hunter Bino Keepers. I get them at Cabela's, comes with 4 straps and 4 split rings for $8.00

Sure there are other ways to fasten binos to straps or harnesses. But zip ties do the job so well, and zips don't ever mar anything. Most times simplest that does the job is best.

This. The only variation I might make to the zip ties that others have proposed is to go the next size up from the 4 inchers: Just a little more meat on the bone.
