I have a m8 x3 that I’m thinking of selling. It’s definitely been hunted, it’s not beat up but it’s not pristine. Any ideas on value?

What reticle does it have?
I have a 3X with Post & Duplex reticle that I'm thinking of selling so I'll be following this thread.

Mine is a fine crosshair. I have it on a 30/30 now but the rifles accurate enough I feel it deserves more magnification

JMO, but I'd say $165ish on the straight crosshair one and maybe $185ish on the Post and Duplex depending on condition.

Agree.. I don't own a 3x but there is almost a cult following of this model.

Many don't consider scopes as “collector items” as the newer the better to take the advantage of better glass, adjustments, finish, internal gas filled tube, etc. I would think anything north of $100 would be a good sell / buy.

Plain crosshairs are going to hurt it a bit,most people that want these are ,like the scope,older- we need something we can see a little better.
