Sometimes I find it amazing how vehemently I can disagree with some guys here on some issues, but then realize we really see things much the same in terms of desired destination, and I'd share a campfire with all but a very few. I think it's healthy and constructive to to see that our own point of view is not necessarily the "correct" one.

On the other hand, fuck the liberals. If they didn't want all the abuse they get here, they would leave. I say, give em what they're asking for.

Most people who want to ‘post’ their thoughts on politics and actually go search for places to do so are those who have no one left around them to listen to them......it’s the reverse victim mentality but same mindset......everyone else is always wrong. There are a few individuals here who have a way with words that not only are informative, but also cause another to re-evaluate their own position. There are others that combine it with the ability to literally make one break out in laughter. Bright individuals. Bristo cracks me up, I don’t always agree with him, but there are times he has turned me into realizing he has a valid point. Others are so quick you had best play your cards right or be made the fool.

Many however fear going against the campfire doctrines, and do little more than get in line and volunteer nothing more than words that will ensure them to be acceptable.

An open forum to debate is fine....an open forum that gets ruff is fine.....however, the fire has little desire to debate those who don’t fall in line....in which case is it really a debate?

Hard times may be coming and most of us here agree on what is wrong...patting each other on the back will do little to reverse the course.
