Curious what others who hunt PWS think about shooting deer from boats in PWS. I've been hunting the naked island group for about 30yrs, couple weeks ago hunted it and have never seen so little deer sign. Don't believe winter kill is the culprit based on deer sign on other islands. In my opinion people cruising beach and shooting fawns is the reason. It's illegal to shoot deer from boat in southeast AK so why is it okay in PWS? Contemplating a proposal to F/G to change the law, just curious what other hunters think, thanks.
