We move the cows Tuesday afternoon, and this new calf got left. Jake saw it, got it in, and feed it. It was dark by then, so after chores we toke it over to mama. A late calf is better than no calf. ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/sxvB0X1.jpg)

A late calf is better than no calf. A late calf and a good rain... Hard to argue about either.

Is he big/old enough to fight the upcoming (soon?) winter conditions out on pasture?

I hope so Louis, of course we don't plan on any calves this late. We need to pull the bulls sooner.
