Folks, just a word of advice. Deal with this person with caution to ensure you get what you paid for.

Right now this fella is not honouring our sale agreement and he refuses to respond to my phone calls or even email. Very sad in this trusting environment.

I am still hoping he will do the right thing and either refund my money or send the scope since I have not received the product and the fellow - Shawn Cheshia hasn't had the courtesy to make ANY effort to help resolve the missing product I paid for.

About two months (ball park). No scope, no effort to claim insurance so I can get my money back or anything. Shameful.

jjp, i am so sorry for you. i do a lot on the net and so far so good. I can only hope something came up in his life that is unfortunate and that is why he hasn't responded. that didn't come out right, i think you know what i mean though.

Oh he responds alright... He uses a LOT of profanity and is a total jerk. I almost always cut people slack but this guy goes out of his way to be a jerk.

Read the links JJP has provided and you'll see some of Shawn's PMs and emails posted.

JJP seems to have been outright cheated out of his money and Shawn makes no bones about it.

I don't think you can ship scopes to Canada, check with customs that is prolly where it is..

I have ordered and received many scopes from this board, and dealers, and ebay. Some have been inspected and opened by Canadaian Customs and then passed along to me (with their handling charge!). I don't think for one second that this is JPP's problem area. If you read the links, no tracking, no insurance, no proof, etc. something awful fishy. His money should be refunded. It's the honourable thing to do.

His calous attitude is enough for me to not do business with him....ever. JJP, sorry to hear of your bad experience with this jackass.
