Is it possible to open a McMillan Edge inlet for ADL to BDL. It has that very flat ADL bottom which doesn't carry well in hand, figure a BDL floorplate would round the stock out a little better. Seems like all that should need to be done is cutout the area for the trigger guard, glass bed a little and maybe repaint as needed. Am I missing anything? Will this reduce the structural integrity of the stock?
If you died tomorrow, what would you have done today ...

Edge stocks have a very thin aluminum pillar reinforcing the action screw holes and a escutcheon for the front action screw. I'm not sure you can inlet it without removing/drilling out those pillars. I removed them on a couple of edge fill stocks when I added M5 DBM. It took a bit of the fill out with it but it was ok in my case because I was replacing it with thicker pillars and bedding.

Never done an edge tech, but have had a few standard McMillans sent back to the mothership and done without issue.
