I'm on it !!

It will be posted here;

https://www.panningtheglobe.com/award-winning-white-chicken-chili/

I seasoned the chicken, as instructed (used skinlees boneless thighs, 'cause I like them better) then smoked rather than roasted them !

Also had to sub in a can of romano beans, only had 1 can white beans.

Knowing me, I probably tweaked a few things, but can't remember.

I cook, utilizing recipes, but fueled by instinct & what I have on hand.

NB: this tightened up significantly, once cooled.

Chicken pot pie soup with garlic cheddar biscuits. Not a photogenic display but it was when I ate it. Grin ..

Simple stuff tonight. Meatloaf the wife came up with. Roasted taters with garlic and rosemary I made, along with some gravy from the meatloaf drippings for me. Wife doesn't like gravy, custard, or pudding. Texture thing I guess.

No fancy pics like some of you folks, with the food sliced just right and all:

Tonight we enjoyed homemade french onion soup with the tastiest, cheesiest croutons ever! A side salad completed the meal! Between us, my daughter Quinn and I did an incredible job of it, says my oldest daughter Maggie the expert! 😁

We are visiting our youngest for his baptism tomorrow. He grilled kabobs, shrimp, chicken, beef and the usual veggies. He also made me a killer Old Fashioned. Nice evening.

Butchered a buck today that buddy got on the deer hunt.

Was cleaning up the neck and thinking what a pain to trim the meat, but what a waste to let it go. So trimmed it down just close to the bone and brought it home to make barley soup. Turned out really well.

No worries about CWD in this area - yet.

The bones after cooking.

The meat shredded off the neck.

The finished product.

Homemade Beef Vegetable Chow Mein. Youngest daughter took a quick picture as she just wanted to eat it with no fuss about it.
