What manual do you use for Berger Bullets.
I was looking for a load for the 205gn. Elite hunter but don't see any data for 205s.
Do you just pick a middle ground between 200s and 208s?

We're they owned by Remington?
Thought I saw that on the bankruptcy thread.

Berger and Lapua are part of NAMMO.

They don’t publish a lot, but I’ve heard that if you call Berger they will give you info over the phone

It was Barnes that was owned by the same company as Remington, since the bankruptcy Barnes is now owned by Sierra

Thanks.
It seems 208 is close enough to 205....

So a somewhat related question but nosler. Just something I found while trying to parallel my way to the answer for the Berger question...

Hodgdon posts the start in and max loads for the 200gn. Partition as being 2.0 grains greater than for the 200gn. Accubond.
Both have copper alloy tapered jackets.and the same publihed SD (0.301)
I can't find bearing surface data, but the Accubond lists a lead alloy core while the partition jus t stays dual core. (But then nosler probably has five items for each projectile)
Also nosler load data (given they use a different format) just groups both on the 200gn. Page with the same load data.
Can anyone suggest why the powder company show a much different load for the two as compared to the Projectile manufacturing company?
I don't know what Sierra says for 200gn.

Thanks

Thanks EH.
I was playing with the 205gn and couldn't find data for it anywhere.
I suppose the less specific question would have been what is more important? Small differences in projectile weight, or bearing surface.

My guess is that Mule Deer would say: "it depends on your barrel."

I don't see data for that bullet in the berger manual, I think it's newer than the manual.
