Hmmm..... have hunted with Fred and Shirley before.... wonder what all they sold.......

Hmmm..... have hunted with Fred and Shirley before.... wonder what all they sold....... I've hunted with them a few times myself. It sounds like they sold the main lodge. Too bad because it was Fred & Shirley themselves that really made the place great. There is certainly some risk in buying a Canadian Outfitter's business when 99% of the business needs to cross the border from the US when there is a pandemic raging. If that's not bad enough, sporting shows (like the upcoming Harrisburg, PA show) have been canceled, thus eliminating access to potential clients to fill the vacancies over the next year or two.

Looked at the new guys website, looks like they own the Hines Lake camp. I heard through the grapevine the town wanted to open the road the whole way back to the Hines Lake itself. Also heard Fred and Shirley are taking over a family members camp. Hopefully they can start getting hunters in again.
