Gotta give a big shout out to the folks at Numrich gun parts. With the communist takeover more likely every day ( theres still hope) I thought I better get some badly needed parts before they shut down internet sales on guns/parts like they said they would. One of the things I needed was a stock for my Savage 99. I ordered one about a week ago along with some parts for a Marlin 1895 from Numrich. My order arrived today and to my surprise the stock fit like a glove! I thought it might need some minor fitting but it didn't. Just bolt on and go.
A week might seem slow to you lower 48 guys, but since Im way up in the far north, and in another country, its awesome service!
Getting ready to head up to the arctic circle to hunt the porcupine caribou herd so I got the old 99 fixed just in time!

I just ordered some replacement buttplate screws for an 110E that I'm screwing and they shipped the same day I sent in the online order! Now for the USPS to do THEIR part....

I bought a Lyman 29-1/2 from them about two weeks ago for $100. Unfortunately they only had one, because for that price I would have bought all they had!

Good on Numrich but those guys used to be a real crap shoot in getting quality parts.

I've used Numrich more times than I can count and they have always been great. They stock Great parts that are damn near impossible to find anywhere else, but they somehow manage to keep my old guns running like champs. When I need parts, I always check them first.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA
