I go sans mask.I hear two older women behind me muttering"He must be a Trump voter".I turned around and said excuse me,were you speaking to me?The one said"you must be a Trump voter".I said how so?She says you don't have a mask on.I said "that makes me a Trump voter or just a person who is not a zombie and does not believe everything that the MSM regurgitates"?There were two pair of baffled stink eyes looking at me.I said well I did vote for Trump because I am Veteran who believes in a free Democratic Republic where even idiots like you two have the freedom to vote for who ever you want to.The guy next to me breaks out laughing and the two old witches shuffled off looking lost in space.Just sayin,Huntz

that hasn't happened to me yet. Not likely to in our county either.
I did get an "Oh lord" from a female person more senior than me the other evening. I went to a local restaurant to pick up our to go order, we didn't want to cook. Left the house, it was 36F outside. I'm still wearing shorts in the daytime as it's mostly been in the high 30s to low 40s, so I had just wore my going to town shorts and my sandals for the short trip. Stepped out of the car as the old gal and her presumed hubby were leaving the restaurant and getting to their car parked near mine. They were all bundled up like in the arctic or something. I figured my shorts are better than going out in pajamas as seems to be a current style among some.
Masks seem to be mostly optional around here, even with our seemingly rapidly increasing number of cases of The Corona.

I just got back from a Piggly Wiggly on the edge of the 'hood. No mask either, but it makes for a pleasurable shopping experience here. Most of their customers are terrified of the crud and stay far away.

Instead of a lecture, I would have crop dusted them. I almost always have a fart chambered, ready to go. A good John Madden beer fart.
