Yes, I thought about the 338 Federal as well, being a 308-derived cartridge, but there's something magical about the 358 Winchester :-)

Good point. A regular 243 with a 100gr softpoint at 3,100 fps is an absolute death ray on Whitetails.

On my 708 twin to that Rifle, seems like its 19 or 20 inches. I’d have to dig it out of the safe to measure it. By the way, that’s an absolute STEAL at that price. They are extremely accurate and don’t come up for sale very often. I’d be on that rifle like stink on schitt if I had the funds right now!
