I drink often enough, but only when I don't need to stop. I don't see the sense in having one drink.

You could answer, everyday, only on weekends,or only on special occasions.

I've never been an every day drinker but I must admit I have drank more this year than ever before. I can definitely tell a difference in how I feel if I drink every day. It doesn't take many days of just one or two drinks a day to feel more run down with less energy for me. Conversely, after 3 or 4 days without any alcohol,I start having more energy and just one drink every few days seems to have a much more desirable effect.

I found a good drunk was a great cure for women trouble. I get bad hangovers, I suffer with it for a week. So at the end of that week no woman was worth that.

I learned at an early age that drunks like to fight. I also learned that most drunks couldn't fight very well. Then I learned what "drunk strong and mean" really meant. Avoid or shoot those guys.

How much beer is two cases there? Here that'd be 18 litres - the better part of 5 US gallons. You'd not only be legless, but you'd spend all day peeing.

I don't drink alcohol. As long as it is not harming or putting anyone else at risk it is your choice though.

A case of beer is typically 24 cans/bottles of 12 oz Capacity.

So 2 cases would be 576 oz of beer.

Or 4.5 gallons of beer per day......if one wants to believe dat schit.

You guys haven't been around real drunks if you don't believe him. We don't allow hard Liquor at family reunions so that nobody dies on the way home again. My folks didn't drink, I don't drink. I've seen enough bad choices without adding alcohol. I never saw my grandmother's 4th husband without an open beer. He had a dorm fridge in their bedroom full of Pabst. He had everything Pabst you can think of, clocks, coasters, salt n pepper shakers, picture frames, key chain, plates and bowls... He drank beer while brushing his teeth. That was my dad's side, my mom's side is worse.

My take on this thread is that the artist formerly known as a fat fugk recently discovered alcohol (due to women actually speaking to him) and he was shocked to experience an actual hangover.

Maybe a drink or two to a half-bottle of wine per month depending on work schedule and how many guys we have on hand.

When I go on leave to my up north house once a year, I try and catch up and increase my yearly average a little.

Put a fifth and a half(buddy had three and we went drink for drink until they were gone) of bourbon down once at a party, and drove home with a cop tailing me for half of it. One of the few times I drove after drinking, and the last. I could have two drinks, have a nice buzz, and keep drinking until it was gone and not seem to get any more drunk. Expensive, and pointless. Have had the same fifth of bourbon now for probably 12 years, its half full. Usually use it to augment pain meds when I throw my back out. They don’t do much for me without a bit of alcohol to kick them in the arse.

Grandpa died last week, he always, for as long as I can remember, had a short glass of bourbon with some grapefruit soda every night. Thinking I might take that up, minus the grapefruit soda. Somebody gotta do it, and it usually helps me sleep better.

George Thorogood’s song comes to mind, “I drink alone “.

Good lyrics.

This sounds like me if I have liquor on hand, which has usually been the case lately.

I do need to cut way back as I do have problems sleeping through the night.
