When I was in DC, I would walk past the Indian Embassy and the curry would make my eyes water.

Happy Thanksgiving Sam! I've never tried the curry, don't know if I'd like it, or not.

Family friend taught me years ago with a recipe he picked up in India during WWII. Excellent fare, life got in the way for some years and I forgot how . . .
Tried many recipes since, but all are lacking . . . something!

Not a fan. Y'all know curry was used to mask the smell of spoiled meat?

MMMmmm you can 'curry' about anything.
I make various curried venison recipes too. An easy one to knock out quick is to fry up some sliced onions then when soft add in a tablespoon (or more) of curry powder. Cook this a little while (you may need to add oil). Then add ground venison & garlic until browned. Add in some tomatoes, stock and a bay leaf and simmer until you have a nice gravy. Serve over rice. You can also add in diced carrot. Good stuff.

Not a curry fan, but I made a seafood chowder a week or two ago that called for a small amount like 1/4 or 1/2 tsp.
Living in the fast lane, I added it. It was a pretty good addition.

Love me some Massaman curry! I Like most curry dishes though.
Find a butter chicken or Tikka masala recipe on the Googler. Pick up some curry and garam masala and let er rip.
