I have a Weatherby Vanguard that is wood with a high gloss finish. They stock is heavy and bulky and id like to replace it with something synthetic. I am aware of McMillan stocks but they are quite expensive. I don’t care for the thickness of the grip area on Bell & Carlson. I have seen some other stocks mentioned on this site but can’t recall the names. Can you give me suggestions on synthetic stocks that I can look at? I prefer something like a Remington Classic shape or even the original Weatherby shape if it was significantly lighter.
Thanks in advance.
