i was in high school. none of the teachers broke down and we weren't released early. have been hearing ever more complicated theories about who, why etc.

vincent bugliosi wrote a good book detailing all the various conspiracies. wasn't sensational so didn't sell many copies. it was a real doorstop.

most conspiracy stories presume a level of competency and ability to keep secrets that is remarkable.

I was in a one room country school in west central Ks, with about 15 kids total in eight grades. I was in 6th grade. The phone rang, which was very rare. Teacher answered and listened for a minute. The teacher hung up and told us kids what happened. Parents started showing up shortly to pick up their kids.

I was born in 76’. I’ve heard a lot of the conspiracies but honestly I have no idea. Maybe it went down as the media and government says it did and maybe there was a lot more to it. Having not been alive at the time and not looked into it a whole lot it’s hard for me to put it into context the way someone that was alive and lived through it can.

Similar to 358WCF’s teacher, my mom’s teacher walked into the room crying and announced that the president had been shot.

A dark day for the country, no two ways about it.

I was playing in the ditch with 3 other kids on Horn Road Matagorda County Texas.

I was siting in 8th grade home room when the teacher announced. Watch the news and never did understand why they said only Oswald. I saw people running toward the knoll and smoke drifting in the area.
My though J.Edgar Hoover was behind it because Kennedy was going to stop him.

J. Edgar had enough on John and Bobby that they couldn’t touch him.

Personal life aside my take on Kennedy is that he was patriotic and had the good of the country at heart. In that sense he probably wasn’t unlike Trump.
