I was in 9th grade day dreaming in class literally about just how easy it would be to shoot the president from a distant building when the classroom intercom announced the president had been shot and killed ! Everyone was in shock and I felt guilty! Every time I have told this story I still feel a twinge of guilt just for thinking about it.
But after learning about the details and hearing the press discounting the story of Oswald being the shooter because it was difficult to work a bolt action that fast, especially as the Carcano carbine was a POS. I knew better than that as I had a Carcano that I had shot a lot and the distance was pretty close.

You’ve made a good point with that, JH.

The Great Society followed closely on the heels of the event,

So did a bunch of regime change wars that enriched the military industrial complex that ol' Ike warned about just a few yrs prior.

Face it folks, JFK was a hard coup by the intelligence community. Trump snuck up on them the 1st time...

Richard,

2 Separate sources
Over a weekend I spoke to and mostly listened to the author of a book on the subject. He was a famous investigator of the crime.
Let me know if you are interested.

Next, there's literally hours of interviews with the son of the character that the mission impossible movies and series was based. The man was about to die, so he wanted to admit details about the crime to his son. Who was the man? Ethan Hunt.

Really? I can't keep up with the levels of dumbfuckery around here. Oswald is no different than any other democrat voter? Has there been a rash of presidential assassinations that I'm not aware of? In what way was Oswald the same as any democrat voter?

This is even stupider than TreeMutt's thread.

Oswald was just one more left wing lunatic. The Democratic Party is full of them.

First grade class room. Intercom started going off in the hallway, which was rare. The teacher went out into the hall to listen, then came in and announced what happened. I remember coming home from church on Sunday and watching Oswald get shot on live TV.

I had just turned 3. I remember my mom and two of the other moms in my neighborhood running back and forth to everyone’s homes telling them the news. They were all crying. I didn’t understand what was going on but I knew it was big.

Was it Lee Oswald firing from the TSBD?? Was it James Files firing from the grassy knoll using his Remington Fireball?? Was a man firing while hiding under the storm drain cover on the sidewalk?? Was it Frank Sturgis from the 2nd floor of the Dal-Tex building?? Was Malcomb Wallace (LBJ's hitman) on the 6th floor of the TSBD. His latent pinky finger print was found on a cardboard box in the snipers nest; a 34 point match. See Men Who Killed Kennedy part 9.

If only a competent and thorough autopsy had been performed in Dallas by then forensic pathologist at Parkland Dr. Earl Rose.

Who?

It was not a crazed act of a lone gunman!

Had it been LHO would not have had to die before he could speak. The killer of LHO would not have had to be a terminally ill cancer patient. Bobby Kennedy would not have had to die before he could be elected to disclose the real actors. And lastly, the discoveries of all official investigations would not have had to be locked away for all eternity, or until the contents of all the boxes mysteriously disappear, whichever comes first.

In the early 60s, young unemployed men with very little income did not go flitting around the globe on airlines, back and forth to Russia and Cuba. LHO was on somone's payroll and had been for years,

Had it been the mob, as many suggest, the investigative reports could have been released at the time. They certainly could have been released by Trump a couple years ago.

That just leaves US Government agents. John and Bobby were gung ho about busting the CIA back to a tiny shadow of its former self. CIA equals deep state, then and now.

No doubt in my mind, CIA orchestrated the killing of John, then LHO, and then Bobby.

We had already moved to So Cal from Parkersburg West Virginia where I met JFK as a child in 1960. I was in Kindergarten when assassination took place they sent us home. I've always had an interest in the assassination. I believe Bugliosi gets it right in his book Reclaiming History where he debunks all the BS. Lee Harvey Oswald shot John Kennedy. Three shots fired in a little over eight seconds the fist shot was a miss he rushed the shot as the Limousine passed behind a tree right after turning left onto Elm Street. Oswald did all the shooting that day. I believe the Soviet's put him up to it and the CIA got wind of it and just let it happen...

Jeez Phil...

Of course knowing and facts shouldnt be cause for pause (some were brought up that way), its kind of eerie when so many are clueless on matters like such.

Given the revealed douchebaggery of the current CIA, I'm inclined to think they weren't much different back then.

JFK was about to schittcan the Feral Reserve Bank. Doing so would have cut into the Empire of the United States' excuses and abilities to wage useless foreign wars, which would have also reduced the CIA's size and usefulness.

People were much more naive about government back in 1963. If the same event happened today most people would suspect the government first.
